If you are a fan of Carrie Underwood, you know that she is very into fitness I mean take a look at these shots:
Okay.. now you're probably wondering what this has to do with this post. Well.. Carrie designed a clothing line called Calia and her tag line (I guess that's what you would call it? I don't know) is Stay the Path.
I think with any fitness journey or even a spiritual journey you're trying to stay the path so that's where this series idea was born.
In this series I'm committed to sharing what I eat, how I exercise and so much more!!!
With that said...
For breakfast today:
I had a Strawberry Banana smoothie:
Recipe:
Tone it Up chocolate protein powder (You can follow Tone It Up on Instagram and Facebook)
1 Banana
4 Strawberries
A Handful of Rasberries
Simple yet DELICIOUS!!!
Have A Great day everybody!!!
God Bless!!
Coming Up tomorrow right here on the blog I'm sharing Volume 2 of Currently Into!!!

As I shared on Monday I signed up for a workout challenge with Suzy Collins of Freedom Grace & Fitness. Suzy, a fitness coach for Beachbody has monthly fitness challenges. What I like about Suzy is that she pairs fitness with faith. It's about not only your physical health but your spiritual health as well.
This morning I saw this:
Q: What’s yourdaily exercise routine?
A: I usually go to the gym three days a week. I get there at 5 a.m. to get my workout in before my kids get up. I lift heavy weights for about 20 minutes and then do 30 minutes of cardio on an elliptical machine or a treadmill.
Q: Do you get a chance to exercise much with your family?
A: We live right at the beach, so a lot of our training is on the beach, which makes it that much more fun. We will go for a 3-mile run along the beach, and my husband always has training gear in his car. We will be in the park and do all kinds of exercises together. It’s calisthenics: push-ups and dips and lunges those kind of things. We’re just an active family. We also take our dog on a hike in the mountains or go for family walks. We’re big tennis fans too.
Q: What’s the best health advice you ever received?
A: I remember this because someone told me when I was 16 and it’s stuck with me ever since. It’s great not just for losing weight, but for maintaining your weight: “Eat until you are satisfied, not full.” It made me get in tune with my body and listening to the signals that I was satisfied and didn’t need to eat any more.
Q: What kind of guilty food pleasures do you have?
A: Sugar. I love desserts. If it’s ice cream or some type of chocolate cake or apple pie or crème brûlée, I just love it. Those are hard for me to resist. I don’t think people need to give those things up. I believe in moderation. I usually keep desserts for in a restaurant instead of at home. Unless it’s a special occasion we try not to bring those things into the house.
Hope this motivated you a little!! It did me!! Have a great Wednesday!!!

This morning I saw this:
It's Candace Cameron Bure (Full House, Fuller House) doing ropes. I mean has 40 ever looked better? As a 20 something year old this motivated me! Candace looks great!!
This is how I want to look and feel when I'm 40+.
I want to feel young and healthy and be in the best shape of my life.
Here's her workout routine from chatelaine.com and a few other questions from the interview.

Good morning! Hope all of you are having a wonderful week so far!!!
I'm actually going to post my Inspirational post a little later on today!
I was on Nordstroms buying that dress I told you about in this post and I thought I've been thinking about buying some sunless tanner and well...this post was born!!
Also, if you have any suggestions PLEASE leave them in the comments!!!
I've seen these Dr.Dennis Gross Skincare- Alpha Beta Glow pads on another blog and thought maybe I could try them...
This one is for body and...
This St. Tropez-Gradual Tan is an everyday body tanning lotion
If I were crazy enough to spend this much on a tanning lotion this would be my pick: It's La Mer Soleil gradual tan lotion
The next item that I want to purchase and is outside the realm of beauty products is an Apple Watch. A couple Friday's ago I went to my local Apple store and asked a few questions about it and found out what I needed to and was convinced to buy one.. the only factor now is saving some money...One thing I wanted to know about is if you could get different bands and the answer was yes!!!
What products do you know of that I should try?
Also, don't forget the Erin Condren launched her 2017 Life Planner today just go here (FYI:Her site is taking a little longer than usual)to check them out!

LIVING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE: Making Little Changes

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Growing up I always ate pretty healthy. I always had veggies and fruits in my diet, but I also had chicken fried steak (so delicious) chocolate sheet cake and chocolate chips cookies and anything in between. Back when I younger I had to go on steroids for my cardiogenic syncope that put on 50 pounds on my tiny frame.
As I've gotten older, I've wanted to make a LIFESTYLE change and not think of it as a diet because that makes me want all the ice cream and pizza. I'd rather have that stuff in moderation. When I think of it as a lifestyle change it doesn't sound near as awful and I don't feel like I'm depriving myself of anything. I'm just being conscious of what I'm putting in my mouth.
As you know you're not going to wake up with a six pack. It's going to take a lot of work, but by making small changes through out your day like saying instead of this coke I'll have tea or water or I'll have this taco, but without the shell will make a huge difference in the long run. (You can put everything on lettuce) or make a taco bowl, I love taco bowls. (Sort of like Chipotle)
To get inspired I love watching weight loss shows. Not only are the people that appear on these shows AMAZING they motivate me to be a healthier person. The shows I watch are Extreme Weight Loss with Chris & Heidi Powell. I also watch Biggest Loser and TLC's My 600lb Life.
As a fan of Carrie Underwood I wanted to know what her workout routine looked like and came across her trainer Erin Oprea you can find her on Instagram and Twitter. She also came out with a book called 4 x 4!! It's in stores now!
I'm starting new page called "Work it Out". I'm still working on getting it ready, but it will feature my own workout playlist, some of my personal tips, and of course fashion!
Getting fit can be so overwhelming, but taking it one step at a time is the key in my opinion.
Stay tuned for MORE! Have a great rest of your Thursday and see you back here tomorrow for an ALL NEW! Friday Favorites!

Good Morning!!
I haven't done a fitness post in some time…Here it is!!!
Psssss…Don't go… I'm here to encourage you!
It's hard to get motivated to work out, but when you have some inspiration it can make it a little easier. That's what today's post is going to be about…I thought I'd share who and what motivated me to get in shape!
First and foremost I'm prone to diabetes. It runs in my family. My moms side in particular. When the doctor told me that it really made me think about how I want to be as healthy as I possibly can be. So that's what's motivated me in the first place.
Okay now with that said…Have you seen Kelly Ripa or Carrie Underwood? Those two have killer bodies and I just want to have a contest with myself to see if I can in any way get in that type of shape…LOL don't we all wish we had those bodies and the money to buy a body like that.
I would love to have these arms!
Wowza!!
THOSE LEGS!!!
I'd love to have Faith Hill's abs!!
Did these ladies make you want to get IN SHAPE?!!! I hope so.
Around last April I started hard core training with my mom's co-worker and her son to get ready for my sister's and brother's weddings.
Our workout consisted of biking, running, squats, lunges, weights, push ups and blah blah….It's a hard workout but I got/am having results.(I'm still doing this workout) This work out would last anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour and a half. My #1 tip for any of you who are SHORT and wanting to get in shape is REALLY watch what you in put in your mouth. I know you've probably have heard it a million times but one slip up can make all that hard work be for nothing.
As for my personal diet during this time it consisted of salmon, salads and hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Every now and again I would throw in some type of Starbucks drink in there. I tried to make sure it was on the low calorie side though. Of course I drank lots and I mean lots of H2O! I avoided alcohol and I do that on a regular basis anyway.

I hope this helped some of you get somewhat motivated to get back into the gym or simply going on a walk or jog!!
Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!
