It's been a minute since I've blogged. 

I thought I'd restart this whole journey in blog world and share some of my recent favorites/recent finds!

Mr. Pen pens. I love that these come in all sorts of color variations (including highlighters) and how they write. I use these pens for my daily use at work or in my bible. The cost of them is not too shabby either!

 I could not not include Hosanna Revival  as my next FAV! This brand of bibles, prayer journals, devotionals, notebooks, etc. are absolutely beautiful. If you're looking to grow your relationship in Christ or need a new bible, I would highly, highly recommend these! They also come in different translations CSB, ESV, NLT.

If you enjoy watching YouTube.  My next favorite is watching Ashley Hetherington. She also has The Honey Scoop. She also has a podcast Sweet to the Soul. You can listen to this podcast anywhere including YouTube.

         Happy Planners. 

These notebooks are great for anything you want to use it for!  From writing down sermon notes to scripture to prayer requests!

FOOD: Hanger Bombs

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a great weekend! 

On today's post, I wanted to share a simple recipe from Katie Dunlop of Love Sweat Fitness, you probably have read recent posts on her, you can check out her website here! 

I had seen this dessert recipe but decided to make it last night and oh my goodness, if you're trying to be healthy but want a little something, this will satisfy that sweet tooth! 

RECIPE:

• 1 cup almond butter
• 1/2 cup caco butter
• 2 tbsp unsweetened baking cocoa 
• 2 tbsp monkfruit sweetener (optional...I personally did not use this but I will next time I make these)
• 1/4 cup chia seeds/hemp seeds  

DIRECTIONS: 

Add cocoa butter to a small saucepan over low-medium heat  and begin adding the almond butter and monk fruit if using. Let them melt together while stirring occasionally.  

Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl except for the toppings and scoop them in a muffin tin and add toppings and you got yourself a yummy dessert! You can store these in the freezer. If already frozen let them sit for a few minutes! 

I hope you give these hanger bombs a try! They're so delicious!

My top favorite, the one that I read every single morning is Mix & Match Mama's.  Shay, posts about her family, cooking, entertainment, sports, traveling and everything in between. 

My next favorite is actually her best friend Erika's blog A Little Bit of Everything and she also posts about her family, sports, her home, etc.  

They both cover a little bit of everything!! 

I love Katie Harrell of Mumu and Macaroons! I love how raw and real she is as well as her love of fashion and decorating and everything like that!!  

This post is very short, but I only listen to a handful of podcasts.

Podcasts I Listen Too

 Podcasts I'm Listening Too

On today's blog, I'm going to share some of my favorite podcasts I'm listening too! Some are faith based and some are just for fun!! 

Speaking of podcasts, I recently shared that I was excited for In Joy Life w/ Mattie Jackson - Selecman. Today, she launched and the shows are absolutley great! On her first two episodes she has Annie F. Downs and she also has Shawn Johnson - East and Andrew East on! If you want to know more about Mattie just click here .

Another one I'm listening too is The Bible Recap with Tara Leigh Cobble. I have always wanted to read the Bible in a year, so 2023 is going to be the year I do it!!!

I'm not sure if they're coming back for another season in 2023, but I enjoyed listening to The Bestie Breakdown with Shay Shull and Erika Slaughter. They are from the McKinney, Texas area and just fun!!  You might know Shay as Mix & Match Mama (her blog). 

These podcasts are my favorites right now, but I've listened to Couple Things with Shawn Johnson - East and Andrew East, I think I would like to start listening to the She Reads Truth podcast, and I saw this on Sarah Shaneyfelt's blog She Wakes Up at 5 am, so I think I'm going to give that one a try too!!

Amazon Haul

 

Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend!!! I had a relaxing one!! I watched the Kansas City Chiefs game and not much else!! 

I thought for this Monday, I would share some of the things I've purchased on Amazon or will in the future!! 

I ordered French Girl mint bath salts (I love anything mint) along with Herbivore CALM bath salts and Herbivore Coconut bath soak. 

                                                  I can not wait to relax in a bath!! 

I will order this in the near future, I love a good moisturizing face mask

I'm also wanting to get a new kettle and this one has caught my eye...I first saw Katie Dunlop of Love Sweat Fitness use one similar and well...I wouldn't mind trying it out!!!

I also saw this in a giveaway package that Mattie Jackson - Selecman was doing and I can't wait to order this Voluspa candle - this would be a great Valentine's Day gift to your friends!!

I actually think that any of these products from Amazon would be great Valentine's Day gifts to your sister, daughter or friend!!

My Current Faves

 HAPPY SATURDAY 

I hope all of you have had a wonderful weekend! This week has been a bit busy at work, so unfortunately I haven't been able to post as much as I would've liked BUT here are my Favorites! 

I don't know if you have heard about Life in Lilac but these candles are oh- so amazing!! I purchased my very first one around Thanksgiving '22 and I fell in love with Fall Fever.After I purchased Fall Fever, I have purchased Heart Throb and Always Welcome! These amazing candles will make your home or office or wherever you have them smelling wonderful. You can also purchase diffusers! 

Also, there are a couple other candles I have been absolutely been loving lately are Tyler Candles and Voluspa. 

A wonderful friend of mine gave me Dolce Vita from Tyler Candle Company and I can't say enough great things about this candle, it smells AMAZING! You have to purchase a candle from Tyler Candle Company, they are the best! I even purchased one for this winter season! 

My second favorite for this week...

is Mattie Jackson - Selecman. I don't know if you're a country music fan, but she is the daughter of country legend ALAN JACKSON. If you're not a fan of country music fan let me explain... Mattie lost her very young husband due to very bad fall. Mattie wrote a book called  Lemons on Friday. Before the tragic accident, Mattie started a non-profit call Nasheville, supporting widows. Next Tuesday, January 31st she is starting a podcast called In Joy Life. I can not wait to listen to this podcast!! 

Number Three FAVORITE Is.... Zach Shallcross. 

Zach is the new bachelor this season. He was on Rachel and Gabby's season of The Bachelorette! 

I'm excited to see where this season goes!! 

Following The Bachelor, my next fave is...

Earlier this month I just now discovered Apple Fitness+, I have enjoyed incorporating cycling and treadmill workouts from this app. My favorite trainer so far has been Emily Fayette. 

Apple Fitness+ has several options for workouts to fit your needs! Whether you love running, walking, HITT or yoga it has something for everybody! Also, I have a Nordic Trac treadmill here at home and I have been using the iFit app and oh my goodness I love using this app!! I can be walking in Nashville and then workin out in Italy,,,It is so much fun! The iFit app also has options for everyone! You can be just getting started in your fitness journey or you can be preparing for a marathon! 

OKAY, those are my main FAVES for this week but here are some close calls....

*Ice Roller*

A wonderful friend of mine recently gave me an ice roller for my face and I LOVE IT!! I honestly would love any skin care product given to me!! 

On a whole different topic from skin care - I really enjoy a great coffee! I currently have a Keurig. I love that it has a brother built in but I'm wanting to try different coffee pods and am not sure which ones...also if you have a creamer you love or recipe for a latte, let me know!!
