TONIGHT: AMERICAN IDOL FINALE (PART 1)

Tonight on FOX...American Idol grand finale is on. 

I personally can't wait until tomorrow. I want to see these peeps!!

CARRIE UNDERWOOD

Carrie Underwood. Oh how far she's come since her days on American Idol. During Carrie's season I was rooting for her to win. I knew she was something special. I've loved this song:

"Jesus Take The Wheel"

I have to say that out of all the celebrities out there I am so extremely proud of the way Carrie has handled herself. She has really been a great example to me and so many other people. I believe that her faith in Jesus Christ has a lot to do with that and I'm also EXTREMELY proud of her not being afraid to say Yes, I'm a christian.  I'm so thankful for her example of  having a healthy lifestyle.  She's my No.1 favorite from Idol.

My message to Carrie if she ever reads this is: 

Congratulations on ALL your success and Thank You for being a great example for other believers!! 

KELLY CLARKSON

My fellow Texan...Way back when it all started...I remember turning on the television and tuning into this show called American Idol. She was my favorite of season one and was so glad that she won. I'll be honest I haven't followed her career like I have Carrie's, but no doubt that I like Kelly Clarkson. 

SCOTTY MCCREERY

Season 10 was one of my favorite seasons.. Scotty and Lauren had a lot to do with that. Ever since Carrie won there's been other country singers, but none that I just said "they're gonna be stars"..By no means is Scotty or Lauren a "SUPERSTAR" yet...I do believe they have potential. I have bought all of Scotty albums though and don't regret it at all.  I've also had the pleasure of seeing him in concert with Brad Paisley and he's as talented as they come!! I'm looking forward to what Scotty does in the future!

LAUREN ALAINA

This girl. Oh this girl... What can I say about Lauren Alaina?  This "Georgia Peach" just has a great personality and voice to match. I love everything about Lauren!!

Hallmark Channel Movies & Countdown to Christmas

I love the Hallmark Channel!! With all the crime and Real Housewives of this and that, it is refreshing to just sit back with a snack and watch a good ole love story or christmas movie!

On the weekends I could DO NOTHING but sit back and watch every single movie!! I love that there's a movie I can watch every Saturday and Sunday. One of the actresses I love that appears in some of the movies on the Hallmark Channel is Candace Cameron Bure and actually this Sunday, August 16th she will star in "Just The Way You Are"! I can't wait for Sunday and don't forget that soon….SOON we will get to "Countdown to Christmas!!! My all-time faves!! I'm ready to wrap myself in a blanket with some hot coco!!!
