Friday Favorites | A Little Bit of This A Little Bit of That

 

Happy Friday to all of you! 

I'm so glad that it's Friday, it has been a very long and somewhat busy week.  My main goal for the weekend is to take it easy, do laundry and settle in with a good cup of Joe and a book or movie or two!!

Earlier this week I came across this winter list of movies, so if you're wanting to watch something maybe check out this awesome list!!

I have a little bit of this and a little bit of that for this Friday Favorites!

I personally think I'll watch The Proposal (love Sandra Bullock), Sleepless in Seattle, and Cutting Edge! 

Okay, now on to my favorites from this week:

My Top Favorite without a doubt from this week is getting a couple days to just relax and get some long overdue stuff done and also having some extra time to get into the bible. 

This year 2026 my main thing is to dive all in into my faith and growing it stronger than it has ever been. For all the ways I'm doing that or learn more check out this post!

This next one is more of a find than a favorite but I've seen it at homes I've been too and around the internet and I want to know if I should have it!! #maybelatetotheparty

I love waking up to a great cup of coffee. 

I love dropping a pod in my Nespresso and then using a great collagen (I've used Miss Congeniality from Love Sweat Fitness) or Vital Proteins. 

On my quick mornings where I don't have time to make a "fancy" coffee, I usually just do one of my pods and a creamer (one I love is below).  On the weekends where I have a little bit more time, I may froth my milk + cinnamon+ add collagen + maybe add a flavored syrup... 

As I've probably mentioned before I love these bible journaling sets!! They would be great gifts for someone in your life!!

I've been going on and on about Kayla at {Pretty Little Bible} these are the cutest tumblers! I'm wanting to order all of them!!

To round out this week's favorites, I discovered Fiona Ferris through Shay {Mix and Match Mama} and I've gotten a couple and I think I'm going to add this one to the list!!

What's Up Wednesday | Cold Weather, Elizabeth Smart, & Country Music

 

Happy Wednesday! 

Today, it's the first What's Up Wednesday!! 

If you've visited Nashville or in Nashville my heart breaks for you guys. I will definitely be praying that the power is restored very,very soon!! 

What I've Been Eating: 

I've been stuck in the house all weekend so I made mocha brownies, some chili and also ordered pizza.

I've been wearing sweatshirts and leggings :) 

I'm thinking about all the good times in Nashville, it breaks my heart to see what is going on down there with snow storm Fern. 

I've been loving getting some extra rest. I'm also loving getting into the word. I ordered this: Bloom box from SheLovesBible on Amazon. 

What I've been up to: 

A whole bunch of nothing. I'm wanting to be more creative in this blog so PLEASE if you have any suggestions on blog posts please leave a comment!! 

I'm not really dreading anything...If I had to say it would be this cold weather. I am ready for SPRING and spring fashion!! 

I'm excited about warmer weather!!!

As I have mentioned I've been reading Traitor.  Between work and life things, it's taking me a little longer to complete.  I haven't been watching a whole lot of things lately but I do want to watch the documentary on Elizabeth Smart.

I don't know if y'all remember Cyndi Thomson from the early 2000's known for "What I Really Meant to Say" and "I always Liked That Best", I've been listening to her a lot and I listened to the podcast she did for Jesus Calling. I'm also listening to Ella Langley :)

Entertainment with Me | Crossroad Springs, Ella Langley + More

I'm bringing back my series (not sure it ever left...but)  Entertainment with Me. 

In this series I share what I'm currently reading, listening or watching!! 

So grab your favorite drink and stay a while!! Hopefully you'll find something to add to your list!! 

WATCHING :

One of the shows that I've recently discovered and only has one season out currently is from Great American Family.  

If you enjoy watching Heartland, I think you'll enjoy Crossroad Springs as well! I enjoy watching series like A Thousand Tomorrows (Karen Kingsbury). 

The series is based on the Hamiltons. 

On the weekends, I enjoy watching Katie Dunlop (Love Sweat Fitness), vlogs from Ashley Hetherington or catching up on Hallmark movies.  

This past weekend (Friday) I watched for the first time The Case for Christ.

Also, on a whole different note, I love watching Southern Charm on Peacock and Virgin River on Netflix. I also enjoy watching American Idol, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Real Housewives, game shows, etc.  

When I'm not watching any of that, I have a new desire to watch sermons from different churches. 

READING: 

Traitor by Daniel Massieh.

 I'm loving Ella Langley's "Choosin Texas".  I'm also enjoying Jamie O'Neal ("There is No Arizona") new album Gypsum.

On Sunday, I'm starting a BRAND NEW series Sunday Reset!  

I was thinking that maybe on Sunday as we are all getting ready for the next week that it would be a great time to really reflect on what my current sermon at church is teaching me, gratitude,  may be include how I'm prepping for the week whether that be spiritually or nutritionally or exercise.

A friend recommended that I listen to this podcast!!! 

I don't know if I'm late to the candle warmer party but I love these! 

I came across these candles from Revelation candle. As you burn the candle a bible verse appears and you can also customize them!!! 

I was looking through my own archives and I saw this... This picture is from way back in 2013.  

It has me so excited for April as I will get to see the KING himself GEORGE STRAIT!!! 

Friday Favorites | January 9, 2026

 

HAPPY FRIDAY!! 

Today I'm linking up with Shay and Andrea for Friday Favorites! 

I hope all of you have had a wonderful first full week after the holidays. 

This weekend, I plan on relaxing and getting my place back in order. I also plan to do a lot of reading and drinking coffee!! 

One of my favorite gifts I received this Christmas was my paperwhite Kindle!! 

One of my favorite Instagram accounts to follow is Pretty Little Bibles. 

One of my favorite YouTube accounts is Emily Ann Roberts and her husband's Chris' channel Sasser House.

I decided to give these vitamins from gruns a try and I enjoy taking them every morning. 

I don't have a picture of it but another favorite from this week is a variety pack of perfume from Dillard's. I received this as a Christmas present.  I love trying different scents!!  Some of my favorites from this week are Jimmy Choo, Clinque Happy, Marc Jacobs Perfect. 

Last but certainly not least, I got inspiration to make my winter a little bit more special and cozy.
